“So you’ll be my new friend?”
Daisy was confused by this question. It honestly couldn’t remember what a ‘friend’ was. It had been so long since it was like this human. It had been a good thirty years since it had come into the subspace, where it wished to take Penny, and was turned into what it was now. It decided it would be best to agree. It needed this one.

“Yes. I will be your friend.” The human smiles, though not at Daisy. It couldn’t see Daisy here. Daisy knew that this smile was a good thing. This smile meant that it had made progress.
“Well, if that’s the case, then hi! I’m Penny!” For whatever reason, Daisy didn’t seem to think about the possibility of this human having a name. It thought that only the powerful ones did.
          “Penny. Alright.” Daisy nods.
Penny asks, “What’s your name?” Daisy moved to where Penny was facing forward. Penny didn’t react, as expected.
“Daisy.” Even though Daisy was a regular-sounding name (that's why Daisy chose it), Penny seemed to brighten up. It didn’t understand why. It decided that it needed to somehow keep Penny in a happy state, or as happy as she could be in her circumstances. Being locked in a closet in the basement for almost a day, all because she went to a party and ‘humiliated’ her sister was very unfair, and she looked so sad when telling this to Daisy. “I am here because I need help with something, and you seem to fit the type of person I need.”
Penny looked confused for a moment, then scared. Then she shook her head. “I can’t leave the closet, I told you this! And what if Ms. Reza sees me? Then I’m done for!” Daisy noted the fear of being caught as being the main area of concern for Penny. Daisy could relate to this fear.
“We do not need to worry about that. Besides, it will be quick,” Daisy tried to comfort Penny, but it was hard to convey calm to humans by voice alone. Penny hesitated, then nodded. “Alright. I’ll go with you.”
Daisy had no intention to hurt Penny. It chose her because of what Penny had already been through. Penny had no friends, and her parents didn’t love her as parents should. Her sister got everything while she got nothing. While Penny was a master of disguise, Daisy saw right through her. She wasn’t as happy as she said. Daisy wanted to fix that not only for her, but for all humans in similar situations. But first, it had to make sure its plan was actually going to work. And this is where Penny came in. She was human, in body and in spirit. All it needed to know was if a human could exist in the subspace from which its new form originated. A world where things could be as one wanted.
“Close your eyes, Penny,” Daisy tried to will Penny to listen, and it somehow worked. Or maybe she was doing it because it asked her to? Oh well. While Penny had her eyes closed, Daisy started to open the tear in the universe that led to the subspace. And when it was done, it told Penny to walk forward.
“Do I get a surprise? Is it a gift?” Penny asked Daisy. Daisy didn’t exactly know how to answer that. Penny eventually stepped through the tear, and the tear disappeared.
“Open your eyes.” And Penny did.

“Wow, the stars are really pretty here! And so are you, friend!”
