Redwood Literary Magazine is an outlet for students at Berkeley High School to publish fiction and poetry. The magazine is published online once per academic quarter.
Every Redwood piece goes through a comprehensive editing process:
Writers faithfully attend meetings, submit written work on time, fulfill editorial responsibilities, respect others’ writing, and contribute positively to the Redwood community.
Meetings are online during distance learning.

Every Redwood piece goes through a comprehensive editing process:
- One editor and two writers review the first draft — providing feedback on clarity, organization, character, story, language, and title.
- Two writers review the second draft — providing feedback on paragraphs/stanzas, sentences/lines, and word choice.
- The third draft is copy edited, and reviewed by the faculty advisor.
